At Elev8150’, we are exploring two exciting concepts for our tiny house village. The first concept is for Elev8150’ to garner the financial ability to build a modern, Scandinavian-inspired tiny village on our own. This option would allow us to create a cohesive and beautiful village, with each tiny home designed and built with the same aesthetic and attention to detail.
The second concept is to invite tiny house owners to bring their own tiny houses as rental properties that Elev8150’ manages. This will allow for a diverse and ever-changing range of tiny homes for our guests to enjoy, and will also provide a wonderful opportunity for tiny house owners to share their unique homes with others.

Conceptual Ridgeline Layout
Our tiny house estates will offer a unique layout spanning over a quarter of a mile on a ridgeline, providing a stunning panoramic view of Showers Lake to the east and Red Lion Peak to the west, with an elevation ranging from 8045' to 8270'. The location facing and looking down at the top of the Discovery Ski Resort adds to the appeal of this exclusive mountain top village.
Concept 1- Build a Modern, Scandinavian-Inspired Tiny Village
If Elev8150’ were to be able to secure financial backing this is our conceptual idea of the layout of twelve rentable tiny house units. Unit 1 through 3 of our tiny house estates will be situated in a densely wooded forest with historic mining digs dating back hundreds of years surrounding the entire area. Rather than destroying this unique piece of American history, Elev8150 is committed to preserving it. The first of these structures will be built 6 feet off the ground, along with a connecting walkway. This elevated design provides visitors with a bird's eye view of the surrounding archaeological sites, with the third tiny house cantilevering safely over a 30ft wide and 40ft deep mine shaft. Not only does this innovative design approach protect the historic excavations from potential damage caused by foot traffic, but it also allows wildlife to pass safely underneath, reducing the risk of unexpected encounters with bears, mountain lions, or moose in a densely forested area. The next three structures in our tiny house estates (Units 4 through 6) will be positioned to offer open views of both sides of the ridgeline. As these units will be located in an area exposed to the elements, they will need to be built to withstand the harsh mountain weather. In particular, snow drifting winds of up to 70 miles per hour can occur during the occasional winter storm. While two of the tiny houses will take advantage of the natural ridgeline protection, the third will be specifically designed to withstand Mother Nature at her most extreme. Each unit will be connected by a slightly elevated walkway that meanders between them like a stream, with clear markings in place to aid snow removal during the winter months. These units offer guests the opportunity to experience the full force of Montana's natural beauty, from the stunning views of the surrounding mountains to the rugged elements that shape the landscape. The concept is simple: bring your tiny home to one of our limited twelve ridgeline locations and lease the space at a monthly, quarterly, or annual rate. As the manager of the rental inventory, Elev8150' will handle all the logistics to make the experience as seamless as possible.
The room rates for each tiny house will be based on the amenities and size of the unit, ensuring a fair and reasonable pricing model. Each unit will be designed by the owner or architect but must meet the demands of the building location. Elev8150' will provide guidance on design requirements to ensure that each tiny house is safe, functional, and visually appealing.
As part of the leasing agreement, Elev8150' will provide essential services such as housekeeping, property maintenance, water, garbage, propane, and incinerator toilet disposal. However, there are some considerations that potential owners must take into account before deciding to lease space.
Firstly, the limited spaces available mean that owners must act quickly to secure a spot. Additionally, each tiny house design must be approved by Elev8150’ to ensure it meets the demands of the building location and the aesthetic standards of the site. The views of the valley also vary from space to space, so owners must consider this when choosing a location.
In some cases, some of the property may need to be excavated or altered to accommodate a tiny house design. It's important to note that Elev8150’ site property is currently under development and is not yet complete. As such, owners should be prepared for some construction activities around the site.
Furthermore, owners must carry current insurance on their properties to ensure they are adequately protected. Properties may also be taken out of the rental pool for personal use, meaning that owners should have a contingency plan in place for when they're not using their tiny house.
It's also worth noting that housekeeping, transportation, booking fees, food, and property damage are not covered by monthly rents unless agreed upon in writing between the owner and Elev8150’. Therefore, owners must consider these additional costs when planning their stay.
Finally, each unit must have a propane incinerator toilet, propane heat, small in-house heated water storage, and a Victron electrical system to ensure that all units are self-sufficient and meet the requirements of the site. Overall, there are several considerations that potential owners must take into account before leasing space at Elev8150’.
Elev8150’ Current and or Future Amenities

Elev8150' has exciting plans for future development to enhance the experience of their guests. One of the proposed features is a snowcat and 4x4 shuttle transportation service, which will provide convenient and comfortable transportation to and from the ridgeline locations.
Another planned amenity is the availability of snowmobile and UTV 4x4 rentals for those who wish to explore the surrounding wilderness on their own. Outdoor gear rentals will also be offered, allowing guests to access top-quality equipment without having to bring their own.
Elev8150' also plans to establish a trading post, which will sell various items such as souvenirs, outdoor gear, and other essentials. The trading post will be a one-stop-shop for guests to purchase any necessary items they may need during their stay.
