At our remote off-grid location, we experience a unique and challenging lifestyle. We are cut off from civilization for 9 months out of the year, with no access to basic supplies that most people take for granted. Every year, we must carefully plan and stock up on everything we need to survive, including food, water, and fuel. Transporting these supplies up to the top of the mountain requires the use of a snowmobile, which can be both difficult and expensive.

In addition to the supplies we need for ourselves, we also have a pack of Karelian Bear Dogs that play a crucial role in our off-grid lifestyle. These dogs are more than pets - they are our guardians and companions in the wilderness. They help us protect our property from wild animals and alert us to potential dangers. However, feeding this pack of dogs can be a significant expense.
