True Mountain Dogs
Our husband/wife Karelian Bear Dog team are true wild Montana mountain dogs raised on top of the Flint Creek mountain range in Montana. Their back yard is 60,000 acres of bears, moose, elk, and mountain lions. The vast expanse of the mountain range has provided the dogs with a unique opportunity to develop their natural instincts and hone their natural abilities. Living 10 miles off grid @ a elevation of 8174ft, our Karelian couple have been able to fully immerse themselves in the mountain lifestyle that is deeply ingrained in their DNA. Both of our dogs were bought to protect our three kids in the Montana’s untamed backcountry, and have since become an integral part of our family. The deep bonds that the dogs have developed while safe guarding our children, has been nothing but amazing. Their unwavering loyalty and fierce protectiveness is a testament to their innate sense of responsibility and their love for their family. We are truly blessed to have such amazing dogs in our lives.
How Our Puppies Are Different
We are committed to raising our puppies in the most ethical way possible. Our puppies are raised cage-free high up on a Montana mountain with their parents, who were also raised in a cage-free environment. By giving our puppies the freedom to develop their mountain outdoor skills under the supervision of the older adult Karelians, we are providing them with an unparalleled opportunity for mental growth. This kind of upbringing helps our puppies develop their natural instincts and become more resilient, adaptable dogs. In addition, our puppies are given plenty of socialization opportunities with other dogs and people, which helps them learn to interact well with others and become well-rounded companions.
